Oh Mom

Oh, Mom, you're so sweet,
Just like candy and oh so neat.
Your hair is black, your eyes are brown.
I'm proud of you, you never let me down.

I love you, Mom. You're so sweet,
Just like candy and oh so neat.
You make me laugh just like a clown.
You turn that frown upside down.

Oh, Mom, you're so sweet,
Just like candy and oh so neat.
You're lovable and hugable, you read to me at night.
We cuddle til my bedtime then you wish me to sleep tight.

I love you, Mom. You're so sweet,
Just like candy and oh so neat.
I look forward to Wednesdays, you come to my school.
All the kids say, "There's no mom as cool!"

Oh, Mom, you're so sweet,
Just like candy and oh so neat.
I could look high and low at all the rest.
But there's no doubt about it, you're the best!

I am nine years old and I love to read, write, play piano, and draw. I like writing poetry too. My mom inspired me to write this poem. My mom loves me so much; she says that I am her sunshine. She is very sweet and she loves to do things with me. My dad loves to do things with me too. He loves to wrestle with me. My family is very supportive and helps me to pursue my goals. I love my family.
