Oh Pluto, we all mourn at your fate,
You were once part of our solar family.
We failed you as you were discovered late,
We named you cute and a little silly.
Downgraded from a planet, oh so cruel,
Will you leave your orbit or hang around?
Maybe with new family you'll be the jewel,
There welcomed with love to surround?
Oh lost Pluto, we hardly knew you,
Were you sly and sneak inside Neptune's path?
You were tiny and playful we all knew,
We plotted your quirky way with our math.
Please forgive us because we cast you out.
Remain spunky; we know you will not pout!
