Oh What If I Die

I don’t want to die-
But what if I was an angel who could fly?
I’d see from above
Be capable of love,
Oh what if I die.
My darling please don’t cry
Don’t waste your time to say goodbye.
Go on now, I hope those tears are not because of me.
Darling the sadness will be brief-
It will just make me cry
And I wouldn’t want to lie
to the love
of my life.
With one last sigh,
I exhale the pain so you can breathe in the relief.
