Old friend

Hello old friend
I see you’ve come again
It’s been a lifetime
You said we’d catch up
But you’re blackening the windows
Bleaching the floors
Why bother with roses and candles
When you have blood and pins
Our talk was glistening
Our eyes pondering
My heart depleting
Thank you old friend
For the knowledge of shields and swords
Rivers and blood
Old friend I welcome you
I detest you
Unwanted guest
Vampire in the day
Burning through the light
Searching for the dark
In darkness, my mind sweet chaos
Consume me all
Tomorrow take it all
Old friend, my mind no more
