Old Hemp Rope

Old hemp rope why do you call?
I shall gaze at your beauty on the wall
A death so sweet and neanderthal
I lust for your ability to cure-all

Old hemp rope why do you call?
I can not wait for my downfall
I pick you up off the sidewall
And take a swig of my alcohol

Old hemp rope why do you call?
I look out the window at a snowball
I think of my little son, a goofball
I decide to never take the ultimate fall
