On Disliking The Unknown

Poetry; I dislike it,
More bitter than the lemonade,
Squeezed from all of life's lemons,
It's taste not exquisite but sour,
Lacking motivational power,
Inspiring none,
Confusing the young,

It's not something I could love,
Literal is my passion,
Tangible my reach,
Between the lines my dyslexia thrives,
Poetry; I dislike it,

Tell me what you mean,
Scream, like ice Cream,
That, I understand,
Not poetry, this fool I am,
Nick I am, not a riddle,
Tom Riddle,
Say your words,
Cast thy magic,
It is fiction, devoid of truth,
Like when I say,
Poetry; I dislike it
