On the Pattern of Pathetic

Your emotions don't have my empathy
It's disgusting
Your attachment to feelings
So crushing
Really all you have to do is shrug your shoulders
To what brings tears to your eyes
Becoming robot soldiers
Saying I don't care
We will rise
Just give a detached stare
Ignoring everyone else's demise
That's right
Let your inside
Reflect off the gray skies
Nothing should matter
When you believe without wondering why
Hearts will shatter
And blood will splatter
But that's merely a sigh
When our emotions are flatter
So what's the appeal in caring so much?
I honestly don't know.
It seems like a crutch.
