Once a Piece of Paper

Lying neatly on the desk was a white,
Crisp,
Clean,
Piece of paper
Untouched by you.
As you laid your hands upon the paper,
It began to change.
It's white was replaced
With deceitful words.
It's crispness was wrinkled
By the grip of your hands.
It's cleanliness was exchanged
With stains spilt by you.
What once was a white,
Crisp,
Clean,
Piece of Paper
Lies in the trash
Marked,
Wrinkled,
Stained,
And touched by you.
