Once Alive, Now Dead

I once knew how to be alive,
But that was a thing of the past.
Now I just work and strive,
For a relationship to last.

But, what's the point?
It never works out.
So now I appoint,
Death to take me out.

Here I am now, buried in Hell,
Oh God, what'd I do?
"In your sins you'd never tell" .
I replied with "Oh boo-hoo" .

Now here I am, trapped in the dark,
But I don't miss being alive.
Over the arches of fire I park,
And into the fire I dive.
