Once More

What could I say if I saw you once more?
Would I be able to show restraint?
I would die.
It feels as if a thousand days has past
A thousand days trying

I would be fearful that I would fall
That the love I had would send me into wanderlust
Devotion to you is testing
We stand mile apart
Seas between us
Have you forgotten me?
Am I still yours?
Have the scattered memories faded are they still near?
A kiss of death, a hurt of longing
Do I dare take one step closer?
Or further?
