Once More

And as the seasons change-
Within my weary range-
I remember it all
As the leaves tumble and fall.

To be turned over by the blind-
Oh, how I wish I could unwind!

To stop feeling your scorn-
Nothing I could do to make you mourn.

I try to get some distance,
But my heart is stubborn with resistance.

When is this uphill spiral
Going to stop being so viral?

Obsessed with my obsessions,
These are my confessions.
Don't be so pretentious
Baby, I just want to be once more your temptress.
