Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
A long time ago
A baby boy was born with a pure precious soul.

To a man and woman on a destructive row
His blissful innocence, on the bound to go
He was fully fed a bowl full of lies
Shipped all around on echoing cries
Being taught early on, the horrors of life
That woke him late at night
Screaming daunting and dubious "whys"
Abandoned in dark forests
He tried to escape
Fresh meat for the demons for his soul to take
He never stood a chance in that cradle of hate
Hope, a distant memory
Buried by the pain
With no way out, he found a spot to settle
Deep in the crevices of a deserted meadow
Where he went to die
Refusing to live with the devil
He took his life
In search of the happiness he's never known

Once upon a time
A long time ago
A baby boy was born with a pure precious soul
