Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, there were endless possibilities;
Free futures to dream about.
Once upon a time, we were free of discrimination;
Free of stereotypical ideas.
Once upon a time, life was without hard work;
Free from the weight of the world.
Once upon a time, friends surrounded us;
Free of enemies and hate.
Once upon a time, there was peace;
Free from the violence that revolves around us.
Once upon a time, we were still wishing to be older;
Free to choose our life and not be told what to do.
Once upon a time, we had a light inside of us,
What happened?
