One by One

One must preserve that instant emotion
That rapid sting of pain
Experienced through the struggle
To truly absorb the essence of a better present
So let out the silent cry
That cry that has arisen beyond your soul
And blew your heart apart
Allowing the tears that have been dying to express themselves fly
All of the suppressed fears aligned within your mind
Challenging the very existence of all your dreams and goals
Continue to float high above it all
The many views from the outside make all people look so small
In due time, we'll find all the missing pieces of a broken society
Put them together to complete a portrait of disguised variety
One of common compromise
Till that day comes I will work on myself piece by piece, one by one
