One Dollar

My life was in danger a long time ago
Then you wrapped around me like a blanket of snow.

How sick and sublime the time spent together
When you sung about us I would always hear our forever.

As time went on and our lives fade away,
You kept me together, with you I would stay.

But as they tucked you away with casket and bow,
My life is again in danger, at least that much I know.
