One Last Heartbreak
Her heart broke her ribcage to forge out,
To end those rapid beats once and forever.
She couldn’t bear any of it anymore
Her heart had never stopped crying
Even though the sun was bright every day,
Her heart got darker day after day.
Her eyes sagged with the heavy tears,
They never seemed to cease,
She marked his words in her heart.
Like a nail plunged into her soul.
Or Like a dagger stabbed through the chest,
Her heart bleeding black and red
Nothing could heal her broken heart,
Even though the sun left her,
Her tears didn’t show the stars.
A voice echoed her broken soul,
Its whisperings grew louder,
A part of her said that she was always,
going to wait for you...
Her heart then stopped talking.
Was her soul healed?
