One Lonely Night…


One lonely night on the barren and misty sea
I prayed to father Zeus--"Noble king, set me free."
Then I shot an arrow into the vaulting sky
And the lord of thunder heard my desperate cry.
Taking pity on me, Zeus declared this decree:
Learn to value suffering, and you will be free.
