One Man

One man changed my views,
I don't know what to do.

I started out a killer,
And now I am much iller.

I've succumbed to injuries,
For most of my young life.
I didn't know it was [in] my ability,
To do something that's right.

I'm always seen as wrong,
It's been like this so long.

No matter what's been done,
The blamed is me; I'm one.

I tried to be a hero,
Succeeded recently.
Now all will know,
The real, true life of me.

A penny for my thoughts,
Will make me tell them lots.

I'm really kinda poor,
My life, I want no more.

Turn me in,
I want it, please.
Then they'll sin;
My life will cease.

I'm dying,
[I] keep trying,
I don't wanna die no more.
Help me; it's too late; now I see the door.

The light shines in my mind,
And I don't feel alive.
My memories will bind,
And my memories will strive.

One man changed my views,
One man, that was all.
One man can change you,
Soon, one day, you'll fall.
