One More Day

Everyday is just one more day,
In this thing we call life sometimes we are afraid,
Of each new day and what it could bring,
Anxiety, fear, uncertainty and all of those things,
What will come, and what could it be,
Choices steer fate, but these paths we cant see
Sometimes we need the rain but the sun breaks through,
Sometimes we need the sun but we get the rain it's true,
We looked back on all these years we've grown and aged,
We look upon are lives and sometimes we feel caged,
Sometimes we look around and everything seems so strange,
Sometimes we imagine bleeding ourselves dry, and it leaves only stains,
The imprints of us leaving the world that be,
Because things aren't what we expected or what they seem.
