One More Day

I think about you often, You're always on my mind.
I miss everything about you, Why can't we have more time?

I remember things about you, The way you said my name.
You were always there to comfort me, Now things just aren't the same.

I need to stop blaming myself, There was nothing I could do.
I hope you haven't forgotten me, I'll never forget you.

I wonder, can you hear me when I talk to you at night?
Can you see me cry into my pillow?
Are you wishing you could hold me tight?

All I want is one more day, to try and make it right.
Just to hear your sweet voice, You were always a shining light.

Oh, Momma, how I miss you. Those memories then to fade.
But, I remember how much you loved us,
And all the sacrifices that you made.

Someday I will see you again, I know deep in my heart.
That's what keeps me smiling, Even though we are apart.
