One Philosophy

A man sells drugs because it's how to get rich
And murders his neighbor because he "ain't no bitch"
Blessed are the few but some only get one pitch
Still there is love

He embezzled his freedom to this corporate machine
While the minions slave on for the American dream
As a wise man said, it is a dream within a dream
But always there is love

As war tears across countries, demanding some die
And the soldier who killed them can't stand to survive
As we all march on to the beat of these lies
There is love

We savagely pillage our dear Mother Earth
Justifying our actions with mythical births
And we pretend when we slaughter others, they don't feel hurt
And still there is love

Reeking of the fear we choose to uphold
Consumed by preserving the morality of soul
There is no blame we only know what we are told
Choose love

Don't pity the stupid for we are all dumb
A war has two sides and neither is won
Admire what is, that cannot be redone
Then love
