One winters day

One winters day all the forest was cleared,
Like a mountain without snow.
The trees blown and animals hidden.
The snowflakes dropping down.
I feel the cold winters breeze across my face,
Causing goosebumps on my arms.
The whisper was quiet,
And the howl was loud.
My footprints leaving a trail in the snow.
The clouds are jumping up and down,
The sun hidden behind them.
Not a sound to be heard,
Or a rabbit to be seen.
Not a single thing for miles around.
It was all on one winters day.
