Only Human

I am only human, what more is there to it?
I'm weak so I plead forgiveness or forfeit.
I'm selfish at times. I lose my temper.
I hide my feelings and apologize never.
I hesitate, regret and remember the worst.
I'm only human, full of quirks.
I'm dependent on others, and I get depressed.
What I don't remember, I have repressed.
I make mistakes and wrong decisions.
I discriminate against and cause destruction.
I give into temptation and corruption.
I am only human and I malfunction.
I may forget. I envy and lust.
I only do that which I must.
I have little to no self-control.
I am only human with no strength at all.
I've broken hearts and made false promises.
I'm stubborn so I won't forgive my arch nemesis.
I've lied and cheated my family and friends.
I am only human and must make amends.
