Opposite Day

She took a walk on the wild side
As she walked off with one finger in the air
“Fuck this new World order, for
I am Love,
And I am one with this Universe,”
She thought off into the distance.
Independence started with one middle finger raised
In the backroom of the bar,
She was no longer everybody’s darling
The night sky showed the many directions of the Sun’s rays
As the Earth watched the surface differ
The light came back to her once again
But this time was much more different
She bundled up the light to stuff in her heart’s pockets
She took a walk on the wild side,
And she left her darkness behind
For in the wild, she found her light
She tormented the World’s jungles
To finally turn her life right side up
