Our Adventure’s

The house is now empty
The cup o' tea is cold
But my sister's presence
Was warmly felt..When crossing her threshold.

The memories came flooding back
Of all the things we've done...
Cabins, cruises, sing-a-longs,
Our trip to ole Ireland.

Swimming in the ocean,
Seeing dolphins in the Bay,
Our silly talks bout UFO's
Depp" look-a-likes".to whisk us far away.

Our coffee talks on Sunday's
Mein Sister,"How are You?"
We'd talk until our throats were dry..
"Love you","Love you too."

Our trips were such adventures,
The memories will never end.
I loved her as my sister,
Even more..as my best friend.

But she's on a new adventure,
It's one I can't attend.
Her journey's just beginning.
Her destination... not the end.
