Our Connection, Our Truth

The world is fractured, yet full of life.
This land is holy, yet full of strife.
In the end, what we say and what we do.
Is reflected back, and the world shows true.

The lands irradiated, our uncontrolled rage.
The eroded canyons, show our age.
The flooding rains, our deepest sorrow.
The rust of dusk, our hope for tomorrow.

The warming sun, our showered love.
The darkest caves, lit only above.
The gusting winds, shows who is brave.
And the lightest showers, to dehydration save.

The darkest nights, our darkest fear.
Every spark of light, to hold life dear.
Perhaps our joy, is the world at whole.
Or perhaps all things, which have our soul.

It's our connection, with everything here.
That causes our actions, to be reflected so near.
In the end, what we say and what we do.
Is reflected back, and the world shows true.
