Our Country’s Flag

By Don    Don

Why won't people stand,
for our country's flag.
It has a lot more meaning,
than an old faded rag.
A lot of people died,
for the Red, White and Blue.
All you disrespectful people,
you don't even have a clue.
Where did we go wrong,
when did you lose your pride.
Disrespect is everywhere,
I think it's country wide.
I will always stand,
and I will always brag.
There is nothing greater,
than our country's flag.

This Poems Story

I wrote this because of all the athletes refusing to stand for the national anthem.
