The heart of this family
She kept us together
She was the priceless jewel
In our family treasure.
Always there when we needed
A hug or a kiss
Not a single birthday
Did she ever miss.
She lived and she loved
She laughed and she cried
Our pillar of strength
To which we were tied.
But now God has taken
Our Nana back home
And given her wings
And freedom to roam.
Even from heaven
We feel her strength
Her love knows no bounds
It spreads to any length.
We love you, Nana
And miss you even more
Keep us safe under your wings
'til we meet at heave's door.
