Our Time

Go now from here to find our place,
Somewhere in time; somewhere in space.
Beneath perhaps a hawthorn tree,
Perhaps, with luck, in life's embrace.

Look now from here, where you can see,
How brief the voyage that remains for thee.
With passing charm and fleeting grace,
How sweet the late wind's touch will be.

With staggered stride and failing pace,
Let us slip by; complete the race.
Then splash the level light abundantly,
Cleaning remnants of our disgrace.

Together now, let us not flee,
But glide away in harmony,
Into the golden eye on heaven's face.
let's go from here to find our place.

This Poems Story

Always, I think about how to get to the end, with a true understanding. Perhaps just a dream of hope, that lies perhaps beyond my grasp; yet I wonder.
