Our Walk with God

I was never sure if there was a God.
But I put my faith in Him anyway.
We all fall short of God's glory-
in some shape, form or way.
We need someone there to guide us.
We all want someone to confide in.
We want someone to help us with faults
and someone who will forgive our sin.

I try to follow God's simple rules:
I love my mom and dad like I should.
I don't lie, steel, or curse,
and I always try to be good.
I only love the one true God.
I don't like to hate or kill anyone.
I'm jealous, but I'm working on it.
I do all these and still have fun.
God is all around you,
and though you can't see,
He sees what we all do
and still loves you and me.
