Outside in

Outside, In.

You see who I want you
To see!
The outside things,
My laughter, my smile,
The way I see.
Do you see in?
The pain behind the laughter,
The tears behind the smile.
The laughter to keep from screaming,
The smile that suppresses the tears.
Looking happy, feeling broken and angry.
The sides I never show.
The things I forever feel.
Hidden deep within.
The outside things I show,
My eyes looking out,
Do you see behind my eyes?
The things I've hidden,
There in my soul.
Do you see only what I show?
Do you see only what u want to see?
The outside not In?
