Pages Of Confidence

My story is not over, for
God writes out my chapters.
As the Sun rises,
The birds take flight,
Knowing their wings
Will lift them high.
Broad rainbows
Always paint the skies
After every storm rages.
Resilience fights on and on,
Dispelling the fog,
When finally the Sun comes forward
To light the long-lived dark.
Some of us stay in sorrow
While others are saved from there
Given a special purpose
Of spreading these pages of confidence.
My old chapters call out to me,
As a time I can’t name my worst,
Because those years all lead me here
And I’m right where I need to be.
I always thought everything was beautiful,
But now,
I see God in each piece of life
And my eyes can’t stop adoring.
My story is not over, for
God writes out my chapters.
