Her insides are tied in a knot which is pulled tighter
with each attempt at release.
She's gasping for the air that is happiness but she
still can't breathe.
Her fantasies of happiness fade as she begins to sleep
It's now 7 am. The alarm clock still shreiks.
The world around her is still moving and her heart
She looks into her reflection with puffed eyes and
"Another day" she says, barely able to speak.
The ones who claim they love you, don't even see.
Maybe one day, her soul will be set free.

This poem is about the way pain can make someone feel trapped inside. It can make a kind heart into a hurting soul. This poem is about getting through the day, even when death sounds more peaceful. Keep fighting.
