Pain of Separation

A stormy night
With pitiable plight
Of a woman,
Visibly in fright of an omen,
Struggling through pain,
Trying her best
Leaving to Almighty the rest.
Haunted by a fearful dream
She was going to scream,
Dying to see her baby's face
And take it into her embrace.
Waiting for years for this day,
With the baby she wanted to play.
She gave up at last
Then everything was dark.
She was later awaken by a spark
Of hope that was smothered
When she saw her baby's face withered.
Motionless,lifeless as the newborn lay
The heartbroken mother fell prey
To an entanglement of despair
That left unshowered,her motherly care.
