Paint Me Purple

A gift should not be a cause for alarm, when it means pending harm.
When this moment is gone,
I will mourn
The calm
Before the storm.

Angry painful bruises in my soul.
Paint me purple till I loose my glow.
Rob all that I am and will ever be.
I've always been broken end of story.
Angry painful hues of red and blue.
Paint me purple abuse my love in you.

It always my fault, that's why no one hears,
when I cry my silent tears.
Stop pitying yourself
You know better dear.
I just need help.

Angry painful bruises in my soul.
Paint me purple till I loose my glow.
Rob all that I am and will ever be.
I've always been broken end of story.
Angry painful hues of red and blue.
Paint me purple abuse my love in you.
