Pandemic Realities

By

March 2020 opened bright as my month of birth,
But two before my day I found
Only a most exhausting travil,
As now, over the virus pandemic I must prevail!
Hot dogs a plenty and lots of fruit,
I found it hard to leave at all.
My mask tucked 'round my face,
It gave my breath and lungs an ache!
Days passed with books piled high,
As I began a serious, reading phase,
To which I added an exercise abode,
And on my sturdy, stationary bike I rode and rode!
Not to despair, I tried the internet plane,
And found it full of so much strange,
That I decided to use my inner vision,
As a way of perfect mission!
To be in rhythm with the universe
Was my plan of action,
With much ado on chanting, I applied
To find an answer in my mind relied!
Doing this, I found life's difficulties and enjoyments
All have resolution in compassion, hope,
Happiness, wisdom, courage and health,
Bringing through life's struggles a breadth of wealth!
