Paper thin friendship
Our friendship was a piece of paper
We wrote out our story on it
We laughed
And we definitely cried
But our paper grew slimmer
It couldn’t bear our clumsiness
Of our spilled drinks
And misplaced words
So the ink ran
When we got irritated we used to crumple it
But wrinkles don’t straighten themselves
Other friends tore us apart
And rips don’t seal all alone
So our paper thin friendship became a paper thin memory
