Paradise Lost

Openly, I give Paradise lost farewell kisses
I smooch a wet one to the devil’s temptations
Walking off once again to find another Paradise
As red clouds of fire swirl across the empty sky
God’s breaths of Love dance endlessly
Where there is no hope
His Love begs to differ
Wherever I go, I hear Faith’s echo
God walks with the broken
New hearts break the mold
Of that backwards-thinking modern damnation
This World is too beautiful
For God to ever destroy again
He weighs the heart inside
Not the heaviness of the outside World
Watch the steps of loss and gain
Some places lead closer to God
As red clouds of fire swirl across the empty sky
Openly, I give Paradise lost all my farewell kisses
