Paradox

She was a chilly summer day,
a relief to the hellish heat of August.
She was a complex math equation,
Full of algorithms and variables unknown.
She was a mid-winter blizzard,
Hard to avoid but easy to love.
She was a dark, indigo sky,
Filled with stars and tiny galaxies.
She was a Broadway musical,
Crammed with songs and melodies.
She was your favorite tee-shirt
Tattered and tired but always there.
She was a shiny, polished mirror,
Reflecting the best and worst parts of yourself.
She was beautiful in so many ways.
