Parallel Universes

I saw you standing,
You were wearing your careless style.
I built a wall,
You could not let fall.
When parallel universes collide.
How could I be so naive to think,
You wanting me.
You said you'd not break my heart again,
But it was a lie.
I can only lay on the floor you left me on,
Where you left me--cold.
There is something in the cosmos, that I've been chasing after you,
Only we've collided,
In a beautiful disaster known as life,
A fault in our stars,
You promised,
And I believed you
My star-crossed lover,
When our parallel universes collide.
Now I can rise from the floor,
I Will go on without you.
For I am reborn, another star in your universe--
Shining brightly,
In a parallel universe.
