Parasite

I'm a parasite
lost in your paradise
here drinking
until my head is right
I think it's uplifting

Teeth in my chest
nails in my back
To open my eyes
Blessed by your grace

Down the stream I'm drifting
Through this dream again
Sifting through memories
Amber eyes
I wake up screaming

There's a storm you're starting
Soft skin traced by my lips
The sky is bleeding freezing rain
And the thunders calming
Tears streaming
screaming your name

Battering skies filled with rage
Concentrated meditation
to grow from the shame
The curves of your hips
glowing orange with waves
Constantly burning sage
to not feel you today

Teeth in my chest
nails in my back
To open my eyes
and it's not your face.

I'm a parasite
lost in your paradise
here drinking
until my head is right
I think it's uplifting
