You never really understand
the true meaning behind them.
The reason why they punish you
and the reason why they care.

You never understand parents
until you lose one. Then your world
starts to turn upside down.
you start doing things out of normal.

You start to act out in rebellion
trying to figure out where you
went wrong. You never really
learn to appreciate them until they are gone.

A mother's love is unconditional.
Her physical appearance may be gone
out of sight but her spirit and love
is always with you

She turns a house into a home
She listens to you and gives advice
when you need it. she can be sweet and stern.

Cherish your mother while she's here
because you never know when she will be called home
