Patience lives in a house,
with kids who are rowdy.
She walks into the kitchen and cooks
a meal that is pleasant.

Patience opens a car door
and heads to the store.
She walks down the crowded isle,
hoping to find what she’s looking for.

Patience arrives at home to the rowdy boys,
who still haven’t brushed their teeth.
She lays down and thinks a thought,
What will I do?

Patience goes to bed still thinking,
How did I survive today?
Patience checks on the kids who still aren’t asleep.
Patience gets them in bed and waits.
