Peace In The Castle

Peace In The Castle

The castle has two dragons, braced in a fight.
One dragon looming large,
Belching fire with her breath and stomping.
The other making herself large,
Lightning shoots from her eyes,
Her breath fiery as well.
Ugly rears it's head from all sides.
No peace in the kingdom now!
The King is hiding in fear and disbelief;
His Queen and Princess have been transformed.
They have become dragons, demons.
Scorching each other with their fire,
Each trying ot outdo, to win the battle.
Oh, to survive the tean years,
And nurse the wounds,
And then to discover to wonder and amazement
I am no longer a dragon and neither is she;
The King's Queen and Princess have returned.
