Peace Unfound

Living in an earthly Abyss full of senseless hatred crimes,
where many people have spent their youths behind prisons.
Thoughtful of any borderlines now living with-in consolidation.
Taking themselves back feeding each other pathological lies,
while looking for an admissible reason with their tearless eyes.
For every corner that my body turns I am met with half lit candles,
wilted dried flowers with no signs of life,
and bottles of stale Hennessy.
When are we going to feel a sense of sufficiency.
An Armageddon exist with-in my shattered heart.
I wonder if it will ever stop.
Will we ever see a scene of peace in our city streets.
For many innocent lives have perished.
Death doesn't discriminate between races and ages.
We need to learn our places and relinquish these rages.
In order to survive Anarchy we need to find inner peace.
