Pedal-less Flowers

20 points for every flower pedal
If I had a million
I’d give them all to you
Pedal-less flowers in the grass
Crying for someone to notice
Love me love me, like people used to, please
The leaves listen from the bushes & trees
They’ve seen the environment give the flowers nothing but butchery
They can do nothing but watch the cycle
Nature dies, and nature grows
In both ways, the cycle goes
One day, even the leaves on the bushes & trees will fall to the ground
With the pedal-less flowers in the grass
Dying for someone to notice
Dying for growth to come back
The pedals wither in the rain
I was beautiful once is the promise they proclaim
They forgot this also means they will be beautiful once again
Be patient & think of nature
She’ll guide you through the path of re-building
Because pedal-less flowers & leaf-less bushes & trees is where she really begins
