Peregrination

By Crystal

I chose a path I thought was rare,
With nothing more than just a prayer,
I stepped in bold and brilliant light,
Where hopes and dreams were gleaming bright
But soon I came upon a crack,
My path became a trudging track,
I held on tight, still chose to stay,
And all I did was kneel and pray
Then suddenly my path shone new
Those twists and tangles, just a few
"Walk on, my child," I heard Him say
"This path I've paved for you today."
