Perfect On Paper

I like facts
I've always liked facts it's the only thing I can believe in
On paper, everything makes since
It's the only thing I ever believed in
Then I met you
You were a different, something new, something I wanted
You were careless, fun, different from anything I'd ever known
You never cared what people thought about, you have always been yourself
That made me envy you because on paper we made no since
We were opposites whose paths just happened to cross
It caused me to question the things I believed in
Out there in the world, I know we don't make sense on paper
But who cares if we are perfect on paper
I just want to be with you
