Perhaps.

Stretched between two chasms
One asks me to let go
The other simply request of me to ponder more

Emotionally drained to continually think about
Struggling to get you out, I resort to sleeping
Someplace where my mind isn’t running out of breath
With each and every thought of you that races through my mind

Only to see you there, laced in every fabrication of salvaged memories
On constant replay in my dreams
Because when ppl ask me how many times I think about you, I say only once
The moment you entered, you never left

You stayed, got comfortable and now won’t seem to leave
Perhaps
To become immune to this improper feeling
I should embrace it
Understand that the conditions and forces of affection and genuine love are beyond irreplaceable
And moreover unremovable
Perhaps
