Perspective

In a world so big,
I feel so small,
As insignificant as a twig
Dangling from a tree, just waiting to fall.

What am I to you? To all?
Answer: probably not much.
I'm just another student walking the halls,
As everyone else flies by in a rush.

Then there's the swarming crowd at lunch.
What does everyone else see?
I see people talking in a bunch,
But is anybody talking or thinking about me?

I'm just one fish in a sea of many;
Everyone else is a dime, while I'm just a penny.
